IPL 2026 Tickets: BookMyShow Opens Pre-Sale Registration For Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Titans Matches

BookMyShow has opened the pre-sale registration for tickets for the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT) on it's website and mobile app. The ticketing platform is usually where fans buy tickets for the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the fixtures for IPL 2026 on March 11. The official IPL X handle posted that defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 28 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The schedule was announced for the first 20 matches of IPL 2026, which will be played from March 28 to April 12. The full schedule will be released once poll dates are announced for three states set to undergo State Assembly elections.

BookMyShow has mentioned that one needs to register now for early access to book the tickets for Mumbai and Gujarat's matches. It also mentions that registration does not guarantee ticket purchase, nor does it permit access or entry into the venues.

It goes on to mention in it's terms and conditions section that it is only the opportunity to have early access to ticket sales on a first come first serve basis.

A total of 20 matches will be played across 10 venues - Bengaluru, Mumbai, Guwahati, New Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad.

The opening phase will feature four double-headers, with afternoon games starting at 3:30 p.m. and evening games at 7:30 p.m.. Following the season opener, Mumbai Indians (MI) will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium.
