Fans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s victory parade will take place as planned on June 4. The team management has put an end to the rumours regarding the cancellation of the victory parade.
The statement released on X read, "Victory Parade will be followed by celebrations at the Chinnaswamy stadium. We request all fans to follow the guidelines set by the police and other authorities, so that everyone can enjoy the roadshow peacefully. Earlier, an advisory by the office of the Bengaluru Police Commission had stated that no victory parade would be held on June 4. A felicitation ceremony would be organised at the team's home ground- the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The players will be felicitated there by the Karnataka State Cricket Association from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Traffic Advisory For Bengaluru
The Bengaluru Traffic Police, in a notice, advised people to avoid roads surrounding the Vidhana Souda and the Chinnaswamy Stadium from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Notably, these are the starting and ending points of the open bus parade. The department appealed to people to use public transport options like the metro since there was limited parking around the stadium.
According to reports, the major reason cited for RCB being denied a bus parade was traffic congestion in Bengaluru.
RCB Felication Event
Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara told news agency ANI that the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team will meet with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
He said, "At the grand steps of Vidhana Soudha at 4 o'clock, the RCB players will come here and the Honourable Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and the government will felicitate them. The program may be about 45 minutes to 1 hour. After the felicitation, the Honourable Chief Minister will personally congratulate them, and then definitely somebody on behalf of the team will speak, most probably, though I don't know yet who that will be. That is the program we have organised."
RCB Wins IPL 2025
For Royal Challengers Bengaluru, their fourth IPL final was the lucky charm they needed to win the trophy. Led by Rajat Patidar, the team put up a clinical show at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Batting first, RCB managed to put up 190 runs on the scoreboard.
With the likes of Krunal Pandya and Yash Dayal, the Bengaluru-based franchise then managed to restrict Punjab to 184 runs.
