India vs England T20I Series 2025: Date, Time, Venues, Schedule, Live Streaming, Squads And More

India is set to host England for a five-match T20I series, starting on Jan. 22. The campaign opener will be hosted at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, with the remaining games to be played at Chennai, Rajkot, Pune and Mumbai respectively.

India have remained unbeaten in the bilateral T20I series since August 2023. During this period, the Men in Blue secured their second T20 World Cup under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Suryakumar Yadav took over the leadership responsibilities permanently after the ICC event. 

India have announced a strong squad for the home assignment with Mohammed Shami making a comeback to the squad after a long injury break since the 2023 ODI World Cup. Meanwhile, star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, along with batters Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill, have been given rest. Sanjiu Samson and Dhruv Jurel are the two wicket-keepers in the squad. Axar Patel has been named the vice-captain for this series.

India last played a T20I series against South Africa in November last year. The Men in Blue dominated the proceedings on Proteas' home soil and registered a 3-1 victory in the four-match assignment. England, on the other hand, last faced the West Indies in the shortest format. The Three Lions won the series 3-1. 

The India vs England T20I series will commence on Jan. 22 in Kolkata. The bilateral assignment will be wrapped up on Feb. 2 in Mumbai. All matches are slated to start at 7 PM IST. 

Starting from Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, the T20I series between India and England will be held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, SCA Stadium in Rajkot, MCA Stadium in Pune and the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

• India vs England, 3rd T20I: Tuesday, January 28, Rajkot

The five-match T20I series will be telecasted on the Star Sports Network in India. The matches will also be streamed live on the Disney+ Hotstar app and website.
