Metropolis Healthcare Q1 Results: Profit Soars 19%, Margin Contracts

Metropolis Healthcare Ltd.'s bottom line rose 19% during the first quarter of current financial year 2025-26.
The healthcare service provider's net profit surged to Rs 45.06 crore during the April-June period, against Rs 37.95 crore for the year-ago period, according to an exchange filing on Thursday.

Margin at 23.3% versus 25.1%.
Shares of Metropolis Healthcare closed 2.97% lower at Rs 1,994.6 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 0.09% rise in the benchmark Nifty. The stock has fallen 5.21% in the last 12 months and 3.95% on a year-to-date basis.
Out of the 24 analysts tracking the company, 17 have a 'buy' rating on the stock, two recommend 'hold' and five gave 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price targets implies a potential downside of 2.5%.
