IndiaMart InterMesh Q4 Results: Profit Surges, Margin Widens

IndiaMart InterMesh Ltd.'s net profit surged 81% for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, beating analysts' estimates.

The company's net profit rose to Rs 180.6 crore during the January-March period of fiscal 2025, according to an exchange filing on Tuesday. That compares with a consensus estimate of Rs 120 crore by analysts polled by Bloomberg. In the year-ago period, the company posted a net profit of Rs 99.6 crore.

  • Revenue up 13% to Rs 355.1 crore versus Rs 314.7 crore (Bloomberg estimate at Rs 359 crore).

  • Net profit up 81% to Rs 180.6 crore versus Rs 99.6 crore (Bloomberg estimate at Rs 120 crore).

  • Ebitda up 48% to Rs 130.4 crore versus Rs 88.4 crore (Bloomberg estimate at Rs 133.2 crore).

  • Margin at 36.7% versus 28.1% (Bloomberg estimate at 37.1%).

Dividend

IndiaMart proposed a dividend of Rs 50 apiece for the financial year 2024-25.

The dividend comprised of a final dividend of Rs 30 per share and a special dividend of Rs 20 apiece, subject to the approval from the shareholders in their annual general meeting.

The record date to finalise the eligible shareholders for the dividend is set as June 6, 2025, and the dividend will be rolled out within 30 days after it is declared and approved by the company's shareholders.

Shares of Indiamart closed 4.3% higher at Rs 2,331 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 0.03% fall in the benchmark Nifty 50. The stock has fallen by 11.14% in the last 12 months but risen 3.66% on a year-to-date basis.

Out of 21 analysts tracking the company, eight have 'buy' rating on the stock, three recommend 'hold' and 10 suggest 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price target implies a potential upside of 6.2%.
