What's with the Williams sisters and Garbine Muguruza? The Spanish world number 15 beat Venus Williams 7-5, 6-0 in the Wimbledon final to lift her second Grand Slam title. Her first was in 2016 when she had defeated Venus' younger sister Serena to lift the French Open championship trophy. Let's not forget she lost to Serena in the 2015 Wimbledon final.

The 23-year-old was too hot for Venus to handle. While the first set was down to the wire, Garbine breezed passed Venus in the second. When the final point was won, an emotional Muguruza broke down in tears to rapturous applause in Center Court.

But at 37, the fact that she was in the running for a title is commendable. The hunt for Wimbledon title number six will just have to wait for another day.
