I’ll go straight to the point. Ranveer Singh is the hero in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmavati. At least by the looks of it.
His avatar, which looks hugely inspired from Khal Drogo of Game of Thrones, is villainous and enthralling all at once. Take a look:

Khal Drogo has in many instances eaten raw meat, Ranveer appears to be doing the same in this shot.

Ranveer Singh fights like a Dothrakhi.
In typical Bhansali fashion, the trailer offers a larger-than-life set, along with a stunning Deepika Padukone and a slightly underwhelming Shahid Kapoor.
But will the film match up to its hype? And more importantly, will it revive Bollywood’s box-office slump?
