Sitting in her single room office in Dadar, Mumbai, Rajani Pandit believes she's a desi Sherlock.
Pandit, who's often regarded as the first female private investigator in India, has been in this profession for more than 30 years.
Pandit was in college when she solved her first case. “It's a tough job but I'm born with a natural talent,” she told BloombergQuint. So far, her toughest case was to gather proof for a murder. She had to go undercover to investigate the killing of a father-son duo.
Pandit said she received several threats, but her courage is unwavering.
