(Bloomberg) -- Woolworths Holdings Ltd. said that following a worldwide product recall issued by the Hungarian Food Safety Agency it will recall its Woolworths Frozen Savoury Rice Mix product which contains sweetcorn sourced from the Greenyard Factory in Hungary.
It is “purely” a precautionary measure because the Greenyard Factory has been implicated as the potential source of a listeria outbreak in Europe, the Cape Town-based company said in an emailed statement. “None of our other frozen sweetcorn or vegetable products are affected.”
