(Bloomberg) -- Israel will have no choice but to launch a broad military campaign against Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday.
Asked if the war he is planning would topple the Hamas regime, Netanyahu replied: “Apparently that's going to happen.”
Netanyahu spoke in a radio interview days before Sept. 17 elections, amid a flare in violence along Israel's southern border with the Palestinian territory.
