(Bloomberg) -- Twenty-seven year old baseball center fielder Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels are finalizing a 12-year long contract worth more than $430 million, ESPN reports, citing unidentified sources familiar with the deal.
- Trout was due to be a free agent after 2020 season; at which point he was expected to set off bidding war
- Player Bryce Harper had been lobbying for Trout to join the Philadelphia Phillies
