(Bloomberg) -- Bicycles have become increasingly popular during the coronavirus pandemic and that could be good news for Portugal. The country is the top producer of bikes in the European Union, manufacturing 2.7 million last year. Overall, five nations dominate, with Portugal, Italy, Germany, Poland and the Netherlands accounting for 70% of bikes made in the bloc in 2019.
