(Bloomberg) -- Novak Djokovic captured his record seventh Australian Open on Sunday for his 15th career Grand Slam men's singles title by beating Rafael Nadal in straight sets. The world No. 1 from Serbia defeated Nadal 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 to secure his third straight major championship, having won last year's Wimbledon and U.S. Open titles. He now trails only Roger Federer (20) and Nadal (17) on the all-time list.
