(Bloomberg) -- Capula Investment Management LLP has hired Niall Playfair, a former money manager at BlueCrest Capital Management in London, according to two people with knowledge of the matter.
Playfair, who joined BlueCrest in 2012 from Morgan Stanley, is a credit options trader, said the people, asking not to be identified because the information is private. He's the third BlueCrest executive to be hired by the company in the last three months.
Sing Su, who worked with Playfair at BlueCrest has also joined Capula, the people said. Daniel Escobar joined the firm earlier this year, people said at the time.
A spokesman for London-based Capula declined to comment, as did Playfair. Su did not reply to an e-mail seeking comment. Started in 2005, Capula oversees about $14 billion of client assets in global fixed-income hedge funds.
