Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi, leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi also casted their vote for the Vice Presidential election.

National President of the Indian National Congress, Mallikarjun Kharge, Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India Nitin Gadkari and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also casted their votes for the vice president election.

Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said, "We have decided to vote in favour of NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan. The opposition will say whatever they want... they don't have any policy. We are working to make India developed by 2047 an envisioned by PM Modi."
