Republic Day 2025: Delhi Airport To Remain Closed For 145 Minutes Daily During R-Day Week

Every year Indian government finalises a theme for celebrating Republic Day and the theme for this year revolves around ‘Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas’.

The Republic Day parade starts from Rashtrapati Bhavan and ends at India Gate, showcasing tableaux from various states, denoting the grand cultural heritage of India. It also includes contingents of the Indian armed forces and paramilitary forces. 

15 states and union territories, including Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh, will display their tableaux during the Kartavya Path parade.
