Byculla recieved the highest rainfall at 102.5 mm in Mumbai from 08:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 16. Followed by, Colaba, Chembur and Mahalaxmi with 36.8 mm, 33.5 mm and 31 mm respectively.

IMD Predicts that, Mumbai City, Palghar, Raigarh, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Suburban Mumbai districts, Konkan & Goa - North Goa, South Goa, to see moderate to high flash flood risk during next 24 hours.
"Moderate to High flash flood risk likely over few watersheds & neighbourhoods of following Met Sub-divisions during next 24 hours. Konkan & Goa - North Goa, South Goa, Mumbai City, Palghar, Raigarh, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Suburban Mumbai districts. Surface runoff/ Inundation may occur at some fully saturated soils & low-lying areas over Area of Concern (AoC) as shown in map due to expected rainfall occurrence in next 24 hours," it added.
