At least five people are feared dead and more injured after an explosion at an ordnance factory in Bhandara district of Maharashtra on Friday morning. The blast took place in a section of the factory located at Jawaharnagar town, NDTV Marathi reported.
District collector Sanjay Kolte said the explosion occurred around 10:30 a.m. on the premises. A roof collapsed and at least 12 people were under it during the explosion. Two of them were rescued and an excavator is being used to remove the debris, he said, as per an NDTV report.
