Top 10 Most-Valued Firms Lose Rs 55,712 Crore In Market Cap As TCS, Infosys, Airtel Drag
TCS witnessed a sharp fall among the top 10 most-valued firms with a market-cap loss of Rs 32,237.16 crore.

The top 10 most-valued firms lost a cumulative Rs 55,712.28 crore in market valuation on Wednesday, with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., Infosys Ltd. and Bharti Airtel Ltd. emerging as the biggest losers.
TCS witnessed a sharp fall among the top 10 most-valued firms with a loss of Rs 32,237.16 crore, bringing its market capitalisation to Rs 13.69 lakh crore. Infosys saw a decrease of Rs 17,086.59 crore in its market cap, which stands at Rs 7.51 lakh crore.
Bharti Airtel Ltd. witnessed a market-cap loss of Rs 13,499.12 crore, bringing its market cap to Rs 9.37 lakh crore.
Hindustan Unilever Ltd. and Bajaj Finance Ltd. incurred a significant market capitalisation loss of Rs 10,714.14 crore and Rs 2,222.2 crore respectively.
Reliance Industries Ltd. retained its position as the most-valued firm, followed by TCS, HDFC Bank Ltd., Airtel, ICICI Bank, Infosys Ltd., State Bank of India, HUL, Bajaj Finance and ITC Ltd.
India's benchmark indices had another session of muted close on Wednesday after swinging between gains and declines in a rangebound trading. Information technology and pharmaceutical stocks fell while realty and metal climbed.
The NSE Nifty 50 ended 12.4 points or 0.05% lower at 22,932.9, and the BSE Sensex closed 28.21 points or 0.04% lower at 75,939.18.
