Shares of Tata Steel and Tata Power are gaining in trade today, with both stocks showing positive momentum. They are trading firmly in green, building on technical and fundamental cues.
Tata Power was up 1.31% at Rs 459.15, gaining Rs 6.05, with the stock building on Monday's close. The rally has been supported by rising summer power demand expectations and the company's expanding clean energy footprint, including its recent Databricks tie-up and the incorporation of a new subsidiary, TP Urja.
Tata Steel rose 1.37% to Rs 216.46, up Rs 2.92, hitting a fresh 52-week high, building on global cues in the metal space. The stock has risen more than 50% in the last 12 months.
Tata Power, on the other hand, has gained 16% in the last 12 months while appreciating 20% since the turn of the year.
