Stock Market Today: Sensex, Nifty Close At Record High After Two Days Of Gain; FPIs Turn Net Buyers
Shares of Blue Dart Ltd. rose 7.04% to Rs 7,216.55 apiece as of 2:57 p.m., compared to a 0.18% advance in the NSE Nifty 50. It rose as much as 7.51% intraday, the most in nearly 20 months since Oct. 27, 2021.
The average traded volume so far in the day stood at 12.4 times its monthly average. The relative strength index was at 89, implying that the stock may be overbought.
Out of the nine analysts tracking the company, five maintain a 'buy' rating, two recommend a 'hold' and two suggest to 'sell' the stock, as per the Bloomberg data.
The average calculated from the 12-month price target given by analysts implies a potential downside of 1.2%.

The broader market indices outperformed the larger peers; the S&P BSE MidCap Index was up 0.80%, whereas S&P BSE SmallCap Index was 0.60% higher.
Four out of the 19 sectors compiled by BSE declined while 15 advanced with S&P BSE Utilities and S&P BSE Power gaining the most.
The market breadth was skewed in the favour of buyers. About 1,925 stocks rose, 1,529 declined, while 118 remained unchanged on the BSE.

Shares of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. advanced 7.04% to Rs 185.5 apiece as of 11:28 a.m., compared to a 0.03% advance in the NSE Nifty 50. The scrip rose as much as 8.71%, intraday, the most in over 13 weeks since March 16, 2023.
Sony has no plans to back out of the merger of Sony Pictures Networks India with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. It remains fully committed to the merger in its original shape, as per a report by Mint.
