Apollo Hospitals Enterprise
Shares of Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd. fell over 4% on Tuesday, even as the firm posted a 52% net profit growth in the third quarter of the current financial year, beating analysts' estimates.
Apollo Hospitals' share price fell as much as 4.46% intraday to Rs 6,460 apiece.
Eicher Motors
Shares of Eicher Motors Ltd. fell over 7%, after several brokerages expressed concern following the company's weaker-than-expected performance in the third quarter. The company's increased marketing expenses and adverse product mix is said to have impacted its earnings, leading to target price reductions and rating downgrades from some analysts.
ITC
ITC Ltd. stock was trading at a seven-month low ahead of ex-date and record date for the interim dividend payout. This also made today the last day for investors to purchase shares to qualify for corporate action.
Shares of ITC fell as much as 1.08% to Rs 422.60 apiece, the lowest level since July 10.
Nalco
Shares of National Aluminium Co. rose nearly 4% on Tuesday, after its third quarter net profit went up over threefold, beating analysts' estimates.
The aluminium manufacturer's profit increased to Rs 1,566 crore in the December quarter, in comparison to Rs 471 crore in the year-ago period, according to an exchange filing on Monday. Analysts tracked by Bloomberg had a consensus estimate of Rs 1,183-crore profit.
Nykaa
Shares of Nykaa parent FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd. jumped 3% during early trade on Tuesday, after the company's third-quarter results impressed analysts and investors.
Nykaa's share price advanced as much as 3% intraday to Rs 174.52 apiece on the NSE.
HBL Engineering
HBL Engineering Ltd.'s share price fell to the lowest level in eight months, after its third quarter earnings disappointed the street. The company's consolidated net profit declined 18% on the year to Rs 64.61 crore from Rs 79.04 crore.
The stock declined 11.11% to Rs 470 apiece, the lowest level since June 7.
