(Bloomberg) -- The Mauritius Central Criminal Investigation Department arrested the captain of the ship that ran aground and leaked oil into the sea.
The captain was taken on provisional charges of interference with the ship's operation “likely to endanger its safe navigation,” Ilshad Munsoor, a lawyer hired by the ship's owner, Nagashiki Shipping Co. said by phone.
