ITC Ltd.'s board of directors recommended on Thursday a final dividend of Rs 7.5 per ordinary share for financial year 2024. Along with the interim dividend of Rs 6.25 apiece on Jan. 29, the total dividend for the fiscal is Rs 13.75 per share, according to an exchange filing.
The final dividend will be paid between July 29 and July 31 to the entitled members, the statement said.
The FMCG major's net profit fell 1.3% to Rs 5,020 crore in the March quarter, but it met analysts' estimates.
On the NSE, ITC's shares rose as much as 0.94% during the day to Rs 444.05 apiece, the highest since May 8. It was trading 0.66% higher at Rs 442.60 apiece, compared to a 1.33% advance in the benchmark Nifty at 2:02 p.m.
