Buy, Sell Or Hold: Wipro, Cipla, Ashok Leyland, SBI — Ask Profit
Market analysts also shared insights for short-term and long-term investors on whether to buy, sell or hold the stocks of companies like HAL, GAIL and NCC.

Should you buy shares of Wipro Ltd. at the current market price? Have you lost the opportunity to buy stocks of State Bank of India? Is Cipla Ltd. a good choice from a long-term perspective? Should you sell shares of Ashok Leyland Ltd. at the current market price?
G Chokkalingam, founder and managing director of Equinomics Research and Aditya Arora, founder and multi-asset research analyst, Adlytick.in, answered these investor queries and provided more insights on NDTV Profit's Ask Profit show.
Wipro (CMP: Rs 272.2)
Chokkalingam: Hold
I would suggest to hold the stock for short term.
But, it is not a solid wealth creating stock from medium-to-long-term perspective.
Cipla (CMP: Rs 1,482.9)
Chokkalingam: Hold
Hold the stock for now.
The long term outlook would be stable and steady.
But, the valuation is slightly stretched. So, you may not get a big return.
Ashok Leyland (CMP: Rs 208.52)
Arora: Sell
There is scope for correction for some time in automobile stocks.
The best idea is to shift to sectors that are doing well right now.
I would suggest to sell on the rise.
Ideaforge (CMP: Rs 343.85)
Chokkalingam: Sell
The stock has fallen by over 50%.
It is better to sell.
NCC (CMP: Rs 208.54)
Chokkalingam: Buy
Fundamentally, it is a good stock.
One can mop up the shares for reasonable return of 15-20%.
HAL (CMP: Rs 4,160.95)
Arora: Hold
The stock has been a great wealth creation story for investors.
I would suggest to accumulate the stock on dips.
The level to get into the counter could be Rs 3,800 to Rs 4,000 levels.
SBI (CMP: Rs 772.3)
Chokkalingam: Buy
I would suggest a buy for the stock.
It is a "perfect stock from a long-term perspective".
GAIL (CMP: Rs 181.56)
Arora: Hold
The stock is among the very few outperformers.
The rally is being fueled by good volumes.
Good time to be invested in this stock.
One can maintain a stoploss of Rs 168 and the targets could be Rs 185 to Rs 205.
