The Current Projects
The recently released feature Bharathanatyam 2: Mohiniyattam now marks the final on-screen appearance of the late Santhosh K Nayar.
The film, which hit theatres on April 10 as a sequel to the 2024 hit Bharathanatyam, is scheduled to begin its digital premiere on Netflix starting May 8. Directed by Krishnadas Murali, the film centers on a high-stakes situation involving the family of Sasidharan Nair.
Alongside the late actor, the production features a notable ensemble cast including Saiju Kurup, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vinay Forrt, and Jagadish. With the film still running in theaters, it serves as a timely tribute to Nayar's contribution to the Malayalam film industry.

Growing up alongside his two sisters, he attended St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School before enrolling at Mahatma Gandhi College to pursue a degree in mathematics. While his sisters eventually entered the medical field as gynecologists, Nayar's path diverged during his college years. He pursued his passion for acting as a professional career.
