The teaser of Yash starrer Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups was released on Friday, Feb 20 at 9:35 a.m.
The teaser announcement was made yesterday that had a new poster featuring Yash as Raya, his face partially hidden as he drinks straight from a bottle. The makers of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups released the first look of Yash on Jan 8, introducing him as 'Raya' through a brief teaser shared on the actor's 40th birthday.
In addition to headlining the movie, Yash also serves as the co-writer and co-producer of 'Toxic'. The film is co-written and directed by Mohandas.

According to the film's synopsis, Toxic is set in Goa from the 1940s through the 1970s, tracing the rise of Yash's character as he builds an empire founded on intimidation and dominance. "Spanning Goa's transition from its waning colonial past to the surge of criminal underworlds, Toxic is a brutal action‑thriller that exposes the decay lurking beneath a postcard paradise. Amid shifting power structures and expanding smuggling networks, one man carves out his rule through violence, fear, and treachery. In this world, power isn't given, it's taken, and it always comes at a price. As routes turn into war zones and trust dissolves into doubt, paranoia becomes essential for survival. Ultimately, the greatest threat he faces is not the fallout of his actions, but the darkness consuming him from within," the synopsis states.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film marks Yash's first project since the blockbuster success of 'KGF: Chapter 2' in 2022. It has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages.
The film also stars Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Kiara Advani, and Rukmini Vasanth in pivotal roles. The character Kiara Advani as Nadia, Nayanthara as Ganga, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, Rukmini Vasanth as Melissa and Tara Sutaria as Rebecca.
Its technical crew includes cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, music composer Ravi Basrur, and editor Ujwal Kulkarni. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Yash's Monster Mind Creations, 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups' is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
