The Union Public Service Commission has announced the release of admit cards for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2026.
The commission has indicated that the hall tickets for NDA I and Naval Academy Exam I will be made available on the official UPSC website, i.e., upsconline.nic.in.
The examinations are set to take place on April 12 (Sunday) across various locations throughout India. Candidates who have been admitted are encouraged to download their e-Admit Card and print it as soon as it is available on the site.

The UPSC has emphasised that each candidate must present a printed copy of their e-Admit Card at the designated location to participate in the examination. A candidate failing to present their e-Admit Card for verification at the assigned venue will not be permitted to take the examination. Candidates must also carry the same photo ID card whose number is listed on the e-Admit Card while appearing for each session.
Admit Card Verification
Candidates whose image on the e-Admit card is blurred, absent, or does not display the candidate's name and date are required to present a valid photo identification along with two passport-sized photographs that include their name and date. One photo will be needed for every session.

Venue & Timing Rules
Entry to the examination centre will be restricted 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of each session: 10:00 AM for the morning session and 2:00 PM for the afternoon session. Candidates must report to the location indicated in their e-Admit card. No entry will be allowed after the gates are shut.
Permitted & Prohibited Items
Only the e-Admit card, identification proof, passport-sized photos, and a black ballpoint pen for completing OMR sheets are allowed. Standard wristwatches without any advanced features are permissible; smartwatches are explicitly forbidden.
Candidates must not bring bags, mobile devices, smart or digital watches, electronic gadgets, books, or any other prohibited items into the exam venue. The Commission will not provide facilities for storing these items.
Candidates are recommended to carry a black ballpoint pen, as it is necessary for completing the OMR answer sheets and signing the attendance register exclusively with a black ballpoint pen.
The usage of standard or basic wristwatches is permitted within the examination venues. Nonetheless, wearing any timepieces equipped with features that could function as communication devices, or smartwatches, is explicitly forbidden, and candidates are prohibited from bringing such devices into the examination venues.
