Today marks the final day for the Railway Recruitment Board's registration for the RRB Group D Recruitment 2026. This recruitment initiative aims to fill 22,195 Level 1 vacancies. Aspirants who haven't submitted their applications yet must ensure they complete online registration before the deadline expires tonight, March 2.

The recruitment process is for multiple divisions of Indian Railways. Applications are exclusively accepted through the official website, rrbapply.gov.in. No new applications will be considered after today. Prospective candidates are encouraged to verify their eligibility, upload accurate documents, and remit the necessary fee within the specified timeframe to prevent disqualification.

Eligibility and vacancy details

This hiring initiative aims to fill 22,195 positions at Level 1. These roles encompass Track Maintainer, Points man, and Assistant positions across various railway sectors. Applicants must be no younger than 18 years and no older than 33 years.

Age concessions will be provided to candidates from reserved categories in accordance with government regulations. Interested individuals should have completed Class 10 from an accredited board or possess an ITI certificate in pertinent trades, as specified in the official announcement. Candidates should verify that their academic and personal information aligns with their documents.

Fees and correction window

Applicants belonging to the General and Other Backward Classes must submit an application fee of Rs 500. Of this fee, Rs 400 will be reimbursed upon attending the Computer Based Test. For candidates from SC, ST, Persons with Disabilities (PwBD), women, minority groups, and those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, the fee is set at Rs 250. The total amount will be refunded after participants complete the exam.

The deadline for submitting the application fee will be disclosed later. There will also be a limited-time correction window available. Applicants will have the opportunity to modify certain information by paying a fee for alterations.

Selection process

The recruitment procedure will comprise a Computer-Based Examination, succeeded by a Physical Fitness Assessment, verification of documents, and a health checkup. Candidates are encouraged to frequently visit the official RRB website for announcements regarding exam schedules and the issuance of admit cards.

Following the closure of registration, the board will initiate the review of applications. Applicants should retain a copy of the submitted application and payment receipt for their records. No paper applications will be accepted.
