Thunderstorms and light to moderate rainfall have been forecast until Apr. 3, after which the intensity will reduce. Light rain or thundershowers have been predicted for Apr. 4.
Jalgaon is under an orange warning on Apr. 1 due to the likelihood of thunderstorms with lightning and winds of 50-60 kmph. Hail has also been predicted at a few places. On Apr. 2, winds of 40-50 kmph and thunderstorms will continue. From Apr. 3 conditions are expected to improve.
Pune is under an orange warning on Apr. 1 and Apr. 2, with thunderstorms, lightning, winds of 50-60 kmph and hail at isolated locations. The severe weather conditions will ease from Apr. 3 onwards, with light to moderate rain or thundershowers expected on both Apr. 3 and Apr. 4.
In Satara, thunderstorms with lightning, light to moderate rainfall and winds of 40-50 kmph are expected on Apr. 1. An orange warning is in place for Apr. 2 due to thunderstorms with lightning, winds and hail at isolated places. Thunderstorms will continue on Apr. 3, but conditions will improve on Apr. 4, with light rain or thundershowers expected.
As the week progresses, residents of Mumbai and the neighbouring districts should be prepared for fluctuating weather patterns, with thunderstorms, winds and rain expected in some areas.
