White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said the trilateral meeting with Prime Minister Modi will be held towards the end of the US President Donald Trump- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe talks.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel's plane headed to G20 summit in Argentina made an emergency landing in Germany, reported AFP.
Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale described the meeting between prime minister and the crown price of Saudi Arabia as a “cordial” one, with specific discussions about how the country can enhance investments in India over the next two-three years.
Modi further underlined the threat posed by terrorism and radicalism to the world. “Those who commit financial crimes are also a big threat. We have to work together against black money,” he added.

The meeting assumed importance in the wake of China flexing its muscles in the strategic Indo-Pacific region.
Asserting that India will "continue to work together on shared values," Modi said, "The 'JAI' (Japan, America, India) meeting is dedicated to democratic values...'JAI' stands for victory (in Hindi)." The prime minister also said the meeting was a convergence of vision between the three nations.
The Japanese premier said he was happy to participate in "the first ever 'JAI' trilateral". Trump appreciated India's growth story during the meet.
The leaders emphasised the importance of cooperation among the three countries on all major issue of global and multilateral interests such as connectivity, sustainable development, counterterrorism and maritime and cyber security.

India also called for joint efforts by G-20 countries to form a mechanism that denies entry and safe havens to fugitive economic offenders.
"Principles of United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC), United Nations Convention Against Transnational Organized Crime (UNOTC), especially related to 'International Cooperation' should be fully and effectively implemented," it said.

Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale on Friday, 30 November, said that Japan, US, and India have expressed the need for prosperity and peace in Indo-Pacific during their first ever trilateral meeting.
“They all agreed that a free, open, inclusive, and rules-based order is essential for the (Indo-Pacific) region's peace and prosperity," Gokhale was quoted by ANI as saying.
He further stated that the leaders had agreed on the central role of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) to achieve peace and prosperity.
The G20 summit will enter its crucial second and final day on Saturday, 1 December with hours left for diplomats to bridge divisions on major issues including world trade, climate change and tackling migration, AP reported.
The day will also see a highly anticipated meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, whose nations have been embroiled in an escalating trade war with new US tariffs on China goods set to take effect a month from now.

Briefing the media on the G20 Summit, Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held a number of bilateral visits on the sidelines of the summit.
“The area Prime Minister touched on in general with leaders of the European Union, Netherland PM and Germany Chancellor, was the issue of jointly combating terrorism which is a global phenomenon,” Gokhale added.
He also said that the Argentinian Prime Minister is keen to make a visit to India and PM Modi has extended an invitation to South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa to be chief guest for India's Republic Day in 2019 and Ramaphosa accepted it.
