PM Modi's Income Grew From Rs 11.14 Lakh In 2018 To...

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's total income went up from Rs 11.14 lakh in 2018 to Rs 23.56 lakh in 2023, according to his election affidavit.

In fiscal year 2019-20, PM Modi's annual income was Rs 17.20 lakh, while it came down to Rs 17.07 lakh in the following year. In FY 21-22, it was Rs 15.41 lakh.

Prime Minister disclosed personal assets valued at Rs 3.02 crore and reported a total of Rs 52,920 in cash. Furthermore, the affidavit revealed that he does not hold any investments in bonds, debentures, shares, or mutual funds.

Other assets include four gold rings weighing 45 grams valued at Rs 2.67 lakh, National Savings Certificates worth Rs 9.12 lakh and income tax deduction of Rs 3.33 lakh for the past financial year.

While filing his nomination, PM Modi was accompanied by a host of senior leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party and its alliance partners, including party chief JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, along with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his Meghalaya counterpart Conrad Sangma.

PM Modi is scheduled to hold a campaign roadshow in Ghatkopar in eastern Mumbai on Wednesday. The roadshow, covering 2.5 kilometres, will adhere to strict traffic guidelines to ensure security.

Mumbai's constituencies are slated to go to polls on May 20, marking the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha election.

As part of his campaign efforts for the fifth phase, PM Modi is scheduled to address a public rally at Shivaji Park on May 17 accompanied by political leaders including Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
