Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's budget speech today started a buzz about a series of "100-crore schemes" announced by the new government.

For 29 schemes, Mr Jaitley said he was setting aside Rs 100 crores. Within moments, 100 crore became a talking point on twitter. There were comparisons to Bollywood blockbusters, for which the 100-crore mark is a measure of success.
