Mumbai-based businessman Ketan Rawal who supplies vanity vans to Bollywood stars for shoots deployed these mobile dressing rooms across the city to help the overworked policemen catch a break, at a time the country battles a severe second wave of Covid-19 infections.
Rawal has also provided his vans to healthcare workers at Covid-19 care centres. These vans are equipped with a bed, washroom, dressing table, and air-conditioner, and are sanitised once every day in the morning.
He is also ready to offer his vanity vans to hospitals for the treatment of patients, according to his conversation with BloombergQuint.
So far, he has provided 12 of the 50 vans he owns to the police and health care workers free of cost.
