India reported over 38,000 new cases of Covid-19 as the country braced itself for a third wave of the pandemic.More than 38,000 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the health ministry's update as of 8 a.m on July 18. Recoveries during the same period were higher at nearly 44,000 taking the active caseload to 4.24 lakh.
