India's active case load continued to decline as daily recoveries exceeded new infections for the ninth day in a row.
India added 11,271 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry's update as of 8 a.m. on Nov. 14. That compares with nearly 11,376 recoveries made in the same period.
Active cases fell further to 1.35 lakh, which is the lowest in 17 months.
As many as 285 deaths due to the virus were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the country's total death toll to above 4.63 lakh.
