Active Covid-19 cases in India continued to decline as the daily infection rate fell to 13,000.
As many as 13,058 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry's update as of 8 a.m. on Oct. 19. That compares with 19,470 recoveries in the same period.
Active cases, at 1.83 lakh, constitutes just 0.54% of India's total Covid tally.
