Value Stocks Foiled Again as Rebound Proves Short-Lived: Chart

None

(Bloomberg) -- This year's rebound in the lowest-priced stocks versus earnings, sales and asset values has fizzled. The ratio between the MSCI All-Country World Value Index, which tracks developed and emerging markets, and a similar index of faster-growing companies closed Tuesday just above a 15-year low. The low was set on Jan. 25, and the ratio later rallied as much as 3.6 percent before retreating. Falling interest rates largely explain the persistent weakness in value stocks, Morgan Stanley strategists wrote Thursday in a report.
