(Bloomberg) -- Just a week ago, the upstart currency bitcoin looked set to overtake a far older store of value: gold. That's all changed. The digital currency has tumbled amid concern China will tighten rules to curb capital outflows, while spot gold has advanced seven of the past eight sessions.
