Zepto Offers Car Test Drives In 10 Minutes
The company has partnered with Skoda to debut the service. Founder Aadit Palicha clarified that the company will only offer test drive services in 10 minutes and not actually delivery of cars

Quick commerce platform Zepto will start facilitating test drives of cars in 10 minutes, said founder Aadit Palicha. The company has partnered with automaker Skoda to debut the service.
Palicha took to LinkedIn to clarify that the company will only be offering test drive services in 10 minutes and not actually delivery of cars.
“No, we're not delivering cars in 10 minutes yet. We’ve seen the headlines, Skoda and Zepto delivering car in 10 minutes? We love the energy, but let's clear things up. You won't be ordering a Skoda Kylaq from the Zepto app (as tempting as it sounds)
What can you get in 10 minutes? A test drive of the Skoda Kylaq for now,” he wrote in his post.
A post on the social media platform Instagram from Zepto’s handle posted yesterday triggered the speculation. The company had put out a teaser in collaboration with Skoda, hinting at the delivery of cars. The teaser showed a delivery partner delivering a Skoda Kylaq. “Humare pass mixer hai, phone hai, tablet hai, aur abb…,” the description read.
This initiative builds on Zepto's earlier ventures into automotive-related services, such as its collaboration with Park+ in November last year to provide premium car care products in major metropolitan areas.
The quick commerce race in India has been heating up in India, with multiple players in the sector upping their ante with more and more offerings. While the platforms started off with daily essentials and groceries being the focus, all the platforms—Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and Big Basket Now—have introduced high-value items. This category includes appliances, PlayStations, and iPhones, among other products.
