Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. witnessed another top-level exit on Tuesday, as its Chief Financial Officer Rohit Kumar Gupta resigned. The company has elevated Mukund Galgali as the acting CFO, according to an exchange filing.

The board approved the promotion of Galgali, who has been with the group for over 17 years and is currently spearheading the commercial and strategic initiatives of the company, the filing said. The change would be effective from June 19.

The CFO's exit comes days after the company's HR and transformation lead Animesh Kumar resigned to pursue interests outside the organisation.

In April, Punit Misra, the president of content and international markets at ZEEL, had resigned. Prior to that, in March, Rahul Johri, who served as the president of business and oversaw revenue and monetisation, also stepped down after more than three years.

Additionally, in March, Nitin Mittal, the president and group chief technology officer at Zee Entertainment, had also resigned.

Earlier this month, the board approved the plan to raise up to Rs 2,000 crore, subject to approval from shareholders and regulatory bodies.

The company will be raising Rs 2,000 crore through the issuance of equity shares, including through private placement, qualified institutional placement, preferential issue or any other method, in one or more tranches.
