New Delhi: PNC Infratech on Wednesday reported more than doubling of its consolidated net profit to Rs 54.20 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016.
The company had registered a net profit of Rs 22.13 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Consolidated total income remained almost stagnant at Rs 684.44 crore in the quarter under review. The company had reported a total income of Rs 686.68 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
Total expenses declined to Rs 610.81 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 650.31 crore a year ago.
PNC Infratech is an infrastructure, construction, development and management company with expertise in execution of major infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, flyovers and airport runways.
Shares in PNC Infratech closed 2.32 per cent higher at Rs 121.05 apiece on the BSE, whose benchmark Sensex index finished up 0.25 per cent.
