(Bloomberg) -- A group of Nordic pension funds have invested a combined $700 million in a new renewable energy infrastructure fund that will mainly target Asia and Latin America.
PensionDanmark will invest $250 million and ATP will contribute a similar amount, the two Danish funds said on Wednesday. Other investors include Denmark's Laegernes Pension and Kommunal Landspensjonskasse of Norway.
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, which will manage the fund, said it expects another $300 million of investments before the final close within nine months.
