New Delhi: Consumer durables maker Mirc Electronics, which sells products under the Onida brand, on Monday reported narrowing of its standalone net loss to Rs 9.09 crore for the quarter ended on September 30, 2016.

The company had posted a net loss of Rs 16.61 crore in the July-September quarter a year-ago period, Mirc Electronics said in a BSE filing.

Its net sales during the quarter under review were up 1.04 per cent at Rs 147.13 crore as against Rs 145.61 crore of the corresponding quarter previous fiscal.

Total expenses were down 11.30 per cent to Rs 140.35 crore in the quarter as against Rs 158.24 crore.
