Stocks of Maruti Suzuki were up 3 per cent after the carmaker reported 11 percent higher sales in September.
Maruti said its September sales were up 104,964 units as compared to 93,988 units during the same period of the previous year.
Maruti's shares were trading 3 percent higher at 1,398 on the BSE while the broader markets were flat.
