Lucknow Airport Records Highest-Ever Monthly Passenger Traffic Of 6.29 Lakh In November
Lucknow airport handled more than 5.24 lakh domestic passengers and over 1.05 lakh international travelers last month.

The Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow recorded its highest-ever monthly passenger traffic in November, with a total of 6.29 lakh passengers. The airport's international traffic saw Dubai, Muscat, and Dammam emerge as the top three destinations.
According to a statement, the airport handled more than 5.24 lakh domestic passengers and over 1.05 lakh international travellers in November. This marked a significant increase of over 12% compared to the 5.6 lakh passengers recorded in November 2023.
November also saw an increase in the average daily passenger traffic at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, rising to approximately 21,000 passengers per day, up from 18,600 per day in November 2023. Notably, the month witnessed the highest daily footfalls of the year, with 22,686 passengers recorded on November 10 and 22,986 on Nov. 17.
"The festive season created a tremendous demand for passengers at Lucknow Airport. The addition of new flights and increase in frequencies by the airlines from Lucknow added convenience for passengers travelling domestically and internationally," a CCSIA spokesperson said.
In November 2024, Dubai, Muscat and Dammam were the top three international destinations from Lucknow, while Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru were the top three domestic destinations.
CCSIA currently is the gateway to 29 domestic and 10 international destinations for passengers from Lucknow and the surrounding regions.
The average passenger flights also increased to 140 per day in November 2024, from 134 in November 2023.
The airport is managed by Adani Airport Holdings Ltd., a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Ltd., the flagship company of the globally diversified Adani Group.
