Kotak Mahindra Bank Appoints Bhavnish Lathia As Chief Technology Officer
The board also appointed Vyomesh Kapasi as member of group management council and a senior management personnel of the bank.
Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. announced key leadership changes on Sunday, including the appointment of Bhavnish Lathia as the chief technology officer and a senior management personnel of the bank.
The company announced these decisions through an exchange filing after its board of directors' meeting.
Lathia has been the chief of customer experience and head of technology – consumer bank at the bank, since August 2022. He is also a part of the key leadership team. Lathia has an experience of over 27 years in global technology, products and platform management.
In addition, the board unanimously appointed Vyomesh Kapasi as member of group management council and a senior management personnel of the bank. Kapasi currently serves as the head of consumer bank – product in the company.
Kapasi has been heading products in the consumer banking division of the bank since February. He has about 37 years of experience in retail assets and auto finance, including 30 years with the Kotak Mahindra Group. He is also a part of a key leadership team for the past several years.
Additionally, the company has identified Pranav Mishra, head of consumer bank–distribution; Phani Shankar, chief credit officer; and SK Honnesh, group general counsel; as part of the senior management personnel of the bank, in addition to the existing senior management personnel.
Anupam Kaura, chief human resources officer; Rohit Bhasin, chief marketing officer; and Rajiv Mohan, treasurer; are the others identified as part of the senior management personnel of the bank, in addition to the existing senior management personnel.
