KEC International Ltd. secured an order in transmission and distribution and cables businesses for Rs 1,025 crore.
The infrastructure major has received transmission and distribution projects in India, Africa and the Americas. It includes 765 kilovolt GIS substation in India along with 225 kilovolt composite project, transmission line, substations and underground cabling in West Africa, according to an exchange filing on Wednesday. It will also supply towers, hardware and poles in America.
The company is pleased with the orders it has received, said Vimal Kejriwal, managing director and chief executive officer at KEC International.
"The orders in transmission and distribution have substantially expanded our order book in both domestic and international markets. With the above orders, our year-to-date order intake has surpassed Rs 4,000 crore," he said.
