KEC International Bags Order Worth Rs 1,236 Crore From Multiple Clients

KEC International Ltd. has secured new orders worth Rs 1,236 crore across domestic and international markets, according to an exchange filing on Tuesday.
In its civil business segment, the company received an order for a residential project from a prominent private developer in western India. Its transportation division has been awarded an order under the Train Collision Avoidance System initiative in India. The cable division has won orders to supply various types of cables both within India and abroad, it said.
"The order in UAE has significantly expanded our order book in the Middle East substation market," Vimal Kejriwal, chief executive officer of KEC International, said. "Our civil business continues to expand its client base in the residential segment with the addition of a renowned real estate developer."
With these new orders, KEC International's total order intake in financial year 2025 stood at a record level of Rs 24,600 crore, a robust growth of 36%, Kejriwal said.
Shares of KEC International closed 1.15% higher at Rs 791.75 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, compared to a 1.5% decline in the benchmark Nifty. The stock has risen 10.06% in the last 12 months but declined 33.95% on a year-to-date basis.
Nineteen out of the 25 analysts tracking the company have a 'buy' rating on the stock, four recommend 'hold' and two suggest 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price targets implies a potential upside of 18.5%.
