Government Launches One-Stop Jan Samarth Portal For Credit-Linked Schemes
Jan Samarth Portal is a centralised platform for 13 credit-linked schemes across four verticals.
India has launched a one-stop digital portal linking government credit schemes to directly connect beneficiaries to lenders.
It would be a single site to address people’s concerns and help them understand which scheme they are eligible for, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his speech at an event in New Delhi on Monday. “It will help many more people come forward to avail the various credit facilities.”
The Jan Samarth Portal is a centralised platform for 13 credit-linked schemes across education, agri-infrastructure, business activity and livelihood loans, according to its website.

Modi also inaugurated a digital exhibition that traces the journey of the two ministries over the past eight years. And a special series of Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10 and Rs 20 coins were released. The programme was organised simultaneously at 75 locations across the country.
